Even though the nutrition/herbal markets have matured a great deal over the past twenty years, there are still some growing pains that the industry has to weather. And unfortunately these pains are mostly caused by those that are only looking out for their own best interests.

What claims for raw materials and finished products are real and accurate and which aren’t? Which claims can get you into trouble, and what can you legitimately say about an ingredient or product without getting into trouble? The FDA and the FTC are seriously cracking down on marketers that make false claims and on those whose products don’t meet label claim.
